Yorkshire comedy has come a long way since the frilly-shirted heydays of the seventies. Leeds, Sheffield, Bradford, Bridlington, Scarborough, York and beyond.

Maybe even Goole and Hull although they're Humberside, but the invasion is progressing. Yorkshire is reinventing itself as possibly the most exciting and fast growing region for new comedy in the UK so grab your pint, calm your whippet and settle down to enjoy the greatest comic delights that Yorkshire has to offer - and not a mother-in-law gag in sight (although one or two of us are still fond of our frilly shirts.)
